The suspension utilizes a pushrod inboard front and rear double wishbone configuration mounted to a full round-tube structure. The chassis is an industry first for cars of the "7 genre". Its dimensions are more accommodating for the larger drivers while retaining it's focused intent. The problematic bump-steer often found in lighter sports cars has been eradicated by the use of extensive CAD and road based testing. Suspension design was completed by some of the finest chassis engineers in the world, resulting in one of the most forgiving and yet capable handling vehicles in the world.
The Toniq CB is built to accept the exciting Mazda MZR engine. The MZR is a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine featuring direct injection and variable valve technologies. It has 200 peak horsepower and provides the Toniq with a superior power to weight ratio than the legendary Porsche 911 Turbo. The engine is matched to a close-ratio 6-speed manual with short-throw direct linkage shifter.
