British Racing Group kicked off it’s 2010 track season with a special High Performance Driving School at Lime Rock Park on June 3rd. The event sold out in a mere 3 hours!
The group met the night before at the Boathouse restaurant for a meet and greet hosted by Skip Barber Representatives Walter Irvine (Head of Corporate Events and Special programs), Annette Cantilli (Director of Finance) and Kevin Seidl (Vice president of Operations).
The event started early the next morning with instructor introductions and a vehicle dynamics discussion. It was then off to the track where 4 different activities had been set up by the staff to demonstrate and develop the techniques discussed in the morning session. The Skip Barber High Performance Fleet was utilized including; Porsche Cayman, Porsche Carrera, Lexus IS-f, Lotus Exige, Lotus Elise and BMW M3. After the group completed the activities, a timed competition was held. At the end of the day, all participants graduated and were eligible to move on to the more advanced schools Skip Barber offers.
It was a fantastic event and British Racing Group was thrilled to be a part of it.
